Some people have greatness thrust upon them. Very few have excellence thrust upon them. Argue for your limitations, and sure enough, they are yours. To avoid criticism, do nothing, say nothing, be nothing. He who has begun his task has half done it. Once you make the fundamental choice to be the predominant creative force in your life, any approach you choose to take for your own growth and development can work, and you are especially attracted to those approaches which will work particularly well for you.
People are not remembered by how few times they fail but by how often they succeed. Every wrong step is another step forward. Stop freewheeling, get into gear, and do something with your life. There are so many avenues to explore, so why not explore them? Never be afraid to step into the unknown, into the new. Do it fearlessly, always expecting the very best as you do so.

This Saturday, do something you have wanted to do for years. Something just for yourself. And repeat this process once every month. If you have a lemon, make lemonade. Quit now, you will never make it. If you disregard this advice, you will be halfway there.
You must have long-range goals to keep you from being frustrated by short-range failures. Instead of seeing the rug being pulled from under us, we can learn to dance on a shifting carpet.

How would you be allotting your time to accomplish the most you could? This exercise is one method of going after your priorities. Self-image sets the boundaries of individual accomplishment.
A man may fall many times but he will not be a failure until he says someone pushed him. Do not be afraid to take big steps. You cannot cross a chasm in two small jumps. It is better to light a small candle than to curse the darkness. Remember, a dead fish can float downstream, but it takes a live one to swim upstream. It is never too late to be what you might have been.
